Who is this extension for?

Where does the chapter text come from?

The extension extracts the chapter body directly from the Qidian writer backend at write.qq.com or qidian.com while you are editing a chapter. You do not need to copy and paste manually.

Do I need a Gemini API key?

Yes. The extension uses your own Gemini API configuration to perform rewrites, so you stay in control of the model and your data. Configure the key once inside the extension popup.

Can I customize the rewrite instructions?

Yes. You can write your own prompt to control the rewriting style, length, level of change, and which compliance aspects to focus on. The custom prompt is reused for future runs.

Is my chapter text sent to any server?

Chapter text is only sent to Gemini through your own API key for the purpose of rewriting. The extension does not operate its own backend that stores your chapters. History is kept locally in your browser.

Does it work on mobile?

Currently, the extension is available for Chrome on desktop. Mobile support may be considered in the future.
